You can alternatively put some water and baking soda on the bristles of a stiff scrub brush and give the floor mats a thorough cleaning.
If an outdoor hose is not available you can also use a bathtub.
Use a standard vacuum or a shopvac to get rid of noticeable debris and dirt on the mats.
The first step is to remove the car mats from inside the car.
First vacuum the mats with a handheld vacuum.

Make a mixture with two tablespoons of washing powder and an equal amount of any shampoo.
Take the mats out and place them on the ground.
Make sure that you take out all the floor mats and lay them down on a flat surface.
Using a car vacuum remove all the dirt and the dust from your floor mats.
Then spray with 303 multi surface cleaner which quickly removes even the most stubborn spots from coffee oil grease and ink from virtually any material or surface.
Make sure to vacuum both sides.
Remove the floor mats from your vehicle and rinse them with fresh water.
Preferably cement concrete or blacktop.
