Well last year i replaced my stainless steel sink with a ceramic one and now i can finally answer that question. Ceramic sinks are delicate and can easily become scratched or stained if not cared for properly. Try this routine if you have a brand new fixture that needs a deep clean when moving into a new home or cleaning up a newly purchased vintage tub or sink and keep it up at least once a month or every other month. Using warm water liquid soap and a sponge gently clean the porcelain sink.

Then spray the bleach solution over the entire interior surface of the ceramic sink. A ceramic sink provides a look similar to porcelain enamel but the sink won t chip as easily because the entire basin is made of ceramic instead of enamel over. You can save money and your sink by using gentle cleansers made from household ingredients. Open the window or turn on your bathroom fan before you start spraying the bleach solution as this will provide ventilation.
